Golfo Aranci is a small, easy-going port town on Sardinia's north-east coast, its crescent bay backed by the wild promontory of Capo Figari. Ferries to the mainland share the harbour with a fishing fleet whose regular visitors include pods of dolphins, and sandy coves like Baia Caddinas sit within an easy walk. It is a low-key Sardinian day: beaches, seafood, coastal paths — with Olbia and the Costa Smeralda within reach.
